Delivery is powered by a 350+ member VFX team in India and offices in Canada and the US. The studio supports productions across film, episodic series, and advertising with scalable, high-quality VFX solutions.
Recent work includes projects for clients including: Disney, Netflix, CBS, Marvel, Apple TV and more.
We’re looking for a senior rainmaker to grow our North America footprint —someone who lives and breathes the VFX ecosystem and can turn relationships into revenue.
You’ll own a targeted book of business with studios, streamers, and leading production houses, selling services across Film, Episodic and Commercials.
What You’ll Do
- Originate & close high-value VFX engagements; own the sales cycle end-to-end (prospect → pitch → bid → award → growth).
- Build and deepen relationships with VFX Supervisors, VFX Producers, Showrunners, and Studio Execs.
- Drive in-person meetings across North America; represent The Studio at industry events, markets, and festivals.
- Partner with EPs/production to shape bids, schedules, and delivery plans that set shows up to win.
- Maintain a forecast & pipeline, beat quarterly revenue targets, and expand key accounts.
- Bring market intel on pricing, vendor rosters, tax incentives, and VP/AI trends to inform strategy.
- Maintain and update a shared pipeline of prospects with regular progress reporting
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 years in the VFX industry with proven BD / Sales / EP success.
- Deep existing network of VFX Supervisors, VFX Producers, or Studio VFX Executives in North America or Europe
- Strong grasp of invisible-effects workflows, bidding process, client expectations and pain points
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently for face-to-face deals and relationship building.
- Confident, credible, and charming presenter; trusted at the show/exec table.
- Go-getter & closer with an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and a targets-first approach.
